The World of Sheenra is just beginning, and for the foreseeable future I plan to continue updating this site to add more pages to further flesh out the world and setting. I have many upcoming plans for this site which I will go into further detail on within this post. To begin I just want to give a quick overview and explain the goals and purpose I am trying to achieve with this site:
The Library
The biggest and most important area on this site will be the Library. In the library I will begin posting chapters for the featured stories and narratives I am working on writing within this fantasy world I am creating. There will be multiple different stories going at once and chapters between these stories may alternate or release simultaneously, but there is no current release schedule for these chapters, they will release when they are ready. I have divided up these stories into what are called “Tales”, you can think of each tale as its own book or book series. Each tale is a self contained story for the character the tale pertains to, however the tales may eventually cross over or even cover the same event from different perspectives. That being said even though you may benefit and get better understanding by reading both tales when this happens, it is not required, you should still be able to read one tale and understand what is going on in the story without the others. The first of these two Tales I will be releasing chapters for are: The Last Wizard and The Lost Prince. I will be releasing another post soon further discussing and teasing these two stories, and hopefully I will be posting the first chapters of these tales soon. Until then here are some other things you should know about the format of Tale chapters.
Chapter Number: Each chapter will be released associated with the order of its release for each tale. The first story for every tale will begin on 1, and go up as chapters are released.
Chapter Title: Every chapter will have its own title, but still be part of the larger story of the Tale it is a part of. Some of these chapters may be short stories and be their own self contained stories aside from the tale it is a part of, which is why these chapter names can be important to refer to the short story title itself. That being said the chapter will still have its place and reasoning for being within the tale as a whole.
POV Character Name: Each chapter will have the name of a character attached to it at the beginning. This name is the character who’s point of view the chapter will take place in. The name will also be followed by another number, which will represent the number of chapters this character has had. A character may have POV chapters in different tales as well, in which case the number would still reflect how many chapters they have POV’d for total. For instance, the character Finnegan Oakley is a traveler who appears all around Sheenra, and could possibly have chapters in both the Last Wizard and the Lost Prince. In fact the first chapter of the Last Wizard will be told from Finnegan’s POV. This chapter will begin with: Finnegan I So if say chapter 2 of the Lost Prince was a chapter told from Finnegan’s POV, that chapter would begin with: Finnegan II Then if another chapter in the Last Wizard includes a Finnegan Chapter it would be: Finnegan III I understand this can be a bit convoluted, but keep in mind each story is self contained, and just because you miss a character chapter in one story doesn’t mean you will miss plot for them in another. In fact the chapters may take place at completely different times and places. Speaking of…
Date: Chapters will start with a year which will indicate the year in which the current chapter is taking place or beginning in. This is because there will be a lot of time jumping taking place in the story. For instance the first chapter of the Last Wizard will take place in 1,335 AF, where we will see the character Jayce as a fully fledged Wizard. However the second chapter of this tale will take place in 1,310 AF, 25 years before, when Jayce is still a child and before he has begun his wizard training.
Location: Much like how the story will skip around time, the story will also skip around to different locations in Sheenra, so the chapter will also begin with a location to indicate where in the world the character is currently, however as characters travel throughout the chapter the location may change. This first location is to set the scene and indicate where in the world the story is currently taking place.
Quote: Each chapter will begin with a quote. This quote does not have to be from the POV character, or even the character the current tale is following, but the quote will relate to something occurring in the current chapter, even if it doesn’t seem like it at first.
As an example to show you what this looks like, let me provide an example, this would be the Heading on the first chapter of The Last Wizard:

Currently the main focus of the project is working on building up the site and making sure everything is ready for the v1.0.0 release, which is when I hope to release the first chapter of the Last Wizard. I hope you look forward to these tales and watching the stories of these characters develop as I begin to release chapters.
Gallery
The gallery will be where all art produced for this project is stored. Art will be released as it is produced. the art released will most likely be for the purposes of an article I am writing in the encyclopedia, or just when doing concept designs or stuff for characters, but no matter the purpose for the art it will always be posted in the Gallery. I also plan to release one big piece of art with each tale chapter as it is releases, as well as new ‘Covers’ for the tale as the story develops. The Encyclopedia
The Encyclopedia is one of the most unique and exciting parts of this project I am working on. Essentially, the encyclopedia is a wikipedia-like article compilation which will document all characters, places, locations, and anything notable in the world of Sheenra. The idea behind this is not only to give the ability to look up any terms or names that might have been forgotten between chapters, but also to give a unique way of storytelling. The Encyclopedia is very much still a work in progress and I still have tons of articles that need to be created to further flesh out the setting and world I am building. However I will remind that the tales and chapters themselves are still self containing, an you will not NEED to reference the encyclopedia at all while reading, and things will still be explained as they appear in the story, however with the amount of proper nouns and names involved in the story I feel that having something like this to reference will be helpful, especially if things are forgotten between chapter releases. The Encyclopedia also serves as a completely separate way to experience the world and setting of Sheenra. My plan is to continue adding new articles and fleshing out the Encyclopedia up until the v1.0.0 release and the release of the first tale chapter. Then the encyclopedia will be updated as chapters release, updating the pages for each character involved in chapters as needed, or adding new articles based on things introduced in a chapter. This will allow someone to be able to completely follow along with the story just through reading the Encyclopedia articles as they update. If there’s one page on the Encyclopedia I would advise you read and look over to get started, it would be the Timeline, as it goes over all the major events and story beats in this world I am trying to build. This timeline will continue to expand and change as Tales unfold and chapters are released as well, so it can kind of be seen as an overview of the entire world and story. All of this being said, the encyclopedia will NEVER spoil story beats of something that might happen in a future chapter of a tale, and anything that might be spoiler or story related would be omitted in related articles. All major story reveals will happen within the chapters of a tale themselves. However once a chapter is released, the wiki will be updated to reflect the events that occur in the chapter, so if you want to avoid spoilers for a chapter make sure to avoid the encyclopedia until after you have read the new chapter.
About Section
The About section of the website will for now be a quick overview of the History of this setting, however this will continue to change as I add more and more info to the website. The goal for this section is to be a quick overview of everything this project is and a guide for getting started when starting to explore and learn more. Id like to include not only history overviews, but possibly synopsis of some of the Tales and major characters, as well as a quick explanation of how chapters and tales work as explained in the Library section above. This section of the site will be changing a lot, especially leading up to v1.0.0, but I hope to get a better idea of what information I want to be in this section that would make readers more interested to learn more and start exploring the site and read the stories.
Version Releases
“Versions” of the world of Sheenra site will come out as large updates and additions are made to the site. v0.0.1 is essentially the initial release of the site with bare minimum information about this world and project I am building. and the plan as stated is to launch v1.0.0 of the site when the first chapter of The Last Wizard is released. until then I will be releasing lots of art and articles on the encyclopedia, as well as making new additions to the site. When new versions are released I will make posts such as this one going over new changes, new art, and new encyclopedia articles that are being added or updated. My current goal leading up to v1.0.0 is to have a fleshed out timeline for major relevant world events taking place before the first chapter, and to have encyclopedia articles created for all terms included in the timeline, except for those that might spoil future story beats. This may change, but for the time being, the version numbers reflect the following changes:
0.0.X – New art, encyclopedia articles, posts, minor website changes. 0.X.0 – UI changes, website design changes, major functionality or layout changes. 1.0.0 – The Last Wizard Chapter 1 release.
After the release of the first tale chapter this system will most likely change, and as it changes I will be sure to update this in future posts such as this one. My plan for the v0.1.0 is when I feel like the site is in a stage that I am satisfied with the design and layout, as this will be constantly changing as I learn more about website design and how I want the site appear and work.

I am very excited to begin sharing this project I’ve been working on and begin weaving this epic tale I have been building over the past few years. I know this is only v0.0.1 but I am hoping to be constantly updating the site and v0.0.2 will most likely be released in the next week or two, and I hope to have v1.0.0 out within the next few months, so the speed at which this site and project develop may be very rapid. As I continue to add more articles and information about the world, I plan to eventually set up a way for people to send in questions or inquires about the world, characters and stories and I will answer as best as I can without spoiling anything.
