Fyre is the first and greatest of the five dragon gods. He is the creator of Sheenra and father of the other dragon gods Snastrum, Anu, Gaiad, and Izu. He is the God of Light, Order, Creation and the Divine. He is the patron God of the Faith of the White Dragon, who believes him to be the one and only true God. He was created by the One in the Beyond and fell down into Sheenra from the heavens on a meteor, crashing into the world and creating Dragon’s Haven. During the Dragon War Fyre sacrificed himself to defeat Izu and save the world. It is prophesized that one day Fyre will return to Sheenra and lead the world into eternal light. Many of the Faith of the White Dragon believe Fyre will return in the form of a Brytefyre, as they are said to be his Humen descendants.
Appearance
Author’s Note on the Gender of Fyre:
Fyre is a divine being and hence their existence transcends gender and sex. If a gender could be assigned to Fyre they would be described as non-binary or genderfluid. That being said, for most instances within the encyclopedia and in the story you will see me as the author refer to Fyre with he/him pronouns. This is not because Fyre is a man, but because as I was writing the story this is the pronoun I used to refer to them most, as writing them with They/Them pronouns could sometimes be confusing in writing. In the story you will see Fyre referred to by many different pronouns by different characters. This is because characters refer to Fyre by whatever pronoun they personally associate with them, however for the sake of consistency and I will be referring to Fyre with he/him or they/them pronouns.
Fyre as a divine entity he has the ability to change forms and adjust his form as he desires. Primarily Fyre is remembered in his Dragon form, however there are legends which describe Fyre in his Sheena form.
Dragon Form
Fyre in their Dragon form appears as a large, white, glowing reptillian like creature with two arms, two legs, and two wings. They also has a long tail with blue spines that run up his body. As Fyre is genderless, they do not appear as feminine or masculine. Fyre has the ability to change their size at will, they have been described as being only 4 meters tall, all the way to over 100 meters tall. Fyre’s Dragon form is said to be their “True Form”.
Sheena Form
Fyre has appeared in the form of a Sheena like being. Fyre has the power to change this form at will so there is no exact appearance of this form, however this includes descriptions of forms he appeared most in. Fyre most often appeared as a young man with silver hair and deep blue eyes. He was described as around 6ft tall, muscular, and aside from his radiant hair he would not stick out too much among other people. Fyre also would sometimes appear in a female form which looked similar with more soft features.
History
The Age of Fyre
Fyre was created by The One, in the divine celestial realm known as The Beyond. As this is an event that happened before time itself not much is known about this time, however what is known is that The One sent Fyre to the realm of Sheenra and gave them the task of watching over it.
Fyre arrived in the realm of Sheenra riding on a meteor which collided with the center of the world. The impact of this meteor created the first Continent of Sheenra known as Dragon’s Haven. Dragon’s Haven would also be Fyre’s home.
Fyre would venture into the realm of Sheenra, shaping the world how they desired. He spent thousands of years perfecting every inch of the realm down to the last detail.
After perfecting the land, Fyre next created the first lineage of people to populate it, creating the Sheena. For centuries Fyre lived along side the Sheena for centuries, watching them grow and prosper, and guiding them as a father figure.
After some time of living with the Sheena, Fyre decided to return home to Dragon’s Haven, however before doing so, created his three children to watch over and guide Sheenra while they were gone. Fyre copied his spirit and split it into three pieces giving birth to the Chroma Dragon gods of: Anu, Snastum, and Gaiad. When doing so Fyre also created the Magical Color Spectrum, and releasing the power of magic into the world which would later be harnessed by the Sheena.
The Age of Dragons
Fyre returned to Dragons Haven for sometime to rest and reflect upon their actions after the Age of Fyre, however before leaving decided to further populate the realm of Sheenra, creating the lineage of the Humen, leaving them for his children to watch over. It is unknown exactly what Fyre was doing during a lot of this time at Dragon’s Haven.
Fyre returned to Sheenra once again between 8,000 and 9,000 BF, it is unknown exactly why, however it is known he spent a great deal of time living among the Sheena and the Humens. Around 5,000 BF Fyre met the humen woman known as Kristin while in his Sheena form, with whom he would develop a romantic relationship, resulting in the birth of his son Brytefyre between 5,000 and 4,000 BF . Fyre, afraid of what their son might do with the knowledge of his father being a God, decided to leave Brytefyre to be raised by his mother alone.
After the birth of his son, Fyre reflected further upon himself and saw the potential for darkness and hate within his heart, which he noticed during his feelings of lust and desire which resulted in the conception of his son. Fyre decided to try to dispose of these feelings he saw in his heart, removing them from his spirit, however, unable to destroy them, he constructed a great temple underground in the north of the Sheenra mainland, where he sealed this part of him away.
This part of his spirit left unattended continue to grow and eventually became uncontrollable, and around 4,000 BF the fifth and final Dragon god, Izu, was born, manifested from this sealed away peace of Fyre. Upon his birth Fyre travelled to the North to contain and control Izu but failed, and Izu was able to escape into Mainland Sheenra where he travelled to the Highlands region to find the city of Eden and the Humen, and cursed the lineage of Humen with death, taking away their Immortality and shortening their lifespan to around 100 years. Fyre joined Eden and fought against Izu in the first battle of the Dragon War known as the Battle with Eden, however was unable to stop Izu from destroying Eden and consuming the Highland region in Shadow. After this battle the Chroma Dragons and their followers all declared war on each other, as these events casted doubt upon the unstoppable power of Fyre to keep the world in balance and thus the other Dragon gods fought for power. The Sheena pledged their allegiance to Fyre and vowed to help him restore balance to Sheenra and end the war, and so Fyre gifted the Sheena with the power to control and harness the magic power in the magical color spectrum, the magic which reflected the power of his children.
